Il Napoli e l'Inter sono le due squadre a cui la buona sorte ha voltato le spalle: i partenopei sono capitati con il Liverpool ed il Paris Saint Germain di Edinson Cavani, che tanto bene ha fatto nel capoluogo campano e sarà estremamente interessante vedere come verrà accolto dai suoi ex tifosi; l'Inter invece, è stata inserita nel gruppo B, con Barcellona e Tottenham.
La buona sorte ha invece sorriso alla Roma: la squadra di Eusebio Di Francesco ha pescato nel gruppo G i campioni d'Europa del Real Madrid, oltre che CSKA Mosca e Viktoria Plzen.
Gruppo H per la Juventus di Cristiano Ronaldo, che affronterà il Manchester United dell'ex Paul Pogba e Josè Mourinho. I Red Devils sono anche l'ex squadra proprio del fuoriclasse portoghese, che sicuramente vorrà tornare in Inghilterra per fare uno scherzetto ai suoi ex tifosi, che nel 2008 trascinò alla vittoria dell'ambito trofeo continentale.
